Who is Wooster
Founded in 1851, The Wooster Brush Company is a privately held, employee-owned company and one of the largest paint applicator manufacturers in the United States. Their headquarters have always been located in the city of Wooster, Ohio. The company has grown to over 888,000 square feet of manufacturing, shipping, administrative, and warehousing facilities. Wooster Brush has 520 dedicated employees with an average of 17 years of service each.
During 152 years in business, Wooster has contributed many milestones in the industry including being the first to use nylon filaments to create brushes that performed in latex paints, and being the first to introduce synthetic fabrics for roller covers, now an industry standard.
Wooster competes in the US at the top end of the market with Purdy, Corona, and Elder & Jenks in quality.
Their painting products are sold internationally in Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Latin America, the UK, Ireland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, China, Thailand, and Japan.

It competes well with other synthetic brushes in price and quality. It is a must try for all painters who like to combine a quality finish, efficiency and effectiveness in their work. The brush is a little softer then Purdy Elite and give a very smooth finish.
This is a very high quality brush but like all good brushes : try to see if the brush is suitable you you.

Wooster Silver Tip
Wooster is well aware that larger painting contractors are sometime looking for a very nice brush for a low price because the staff does not always spent time to clean their brush. This brush is competing with other brushes around the $20-$30 range. In other words: a professional brush for a DIY price. Of course not a top quality brush but really a pretty good brush: value for money!!

Wooster Ultra Pro
These brushes are traditional Wooster quality brushes completion with the best in the market.
We mainly stock the Ultra pro Firm brushes. The compete in quality and price with Purdy Elite brushes and other top of the range brushes.
These brushes come in a variety of styles. Some of the brushes are available in a Green™ Shergrip® handle, made of a solvent-resistant elastomeric material, has a softer feel for greater comfort and non-slip control.

The poles from Wooster are very well designed. They combine stiffness and light weight and are therefore one of the few high quality poles available on the Australian market.
